Poor Housing Negatively Affects Children's Health

A survey by a University of Ottawa medical student has determined what many would not find surprising -- poor housing negatively affects children's health.

Sarah Waterston, a fourth-year medical student, surveyed 1,360 families of children who arrived at CHEO's emergency room last spring and found there is a correlation between children getting sick and their living conditions.
