Homes by Up to $100,000 Off the Price

Homebuilder Centex Corp. on Jan 18, 2006 unveiled a promotion aimed at spurring sales in northern California by offering to cut prices on some models by up to $100,000 for 12 hours next Saturday, Jan 21.
The promotion comes as home sales in hot real estate markets have slowed in recent months. It also comes as Centex tries to sell more homes before its fiscal year end of March 31, 2006.
