Tip Leads to Kid-Porn Raps in Kanata Neighbourhood

Ottawa police have charged a 29-year-old Kanata man after allegedly finding child pornography on his computer.

The hi-tech crime unit used tips from Toronto police's sex crimes unit to obtain a search warrant for a Kanata apartment. Police executed the warrant Thursday and subsequently arrested the man.

Police seized a computer and digital media from the unit.
