Retrofit at 250 Tremblay Rd Rolling Along

If you've driven past the VIA train station recently you've likely seen it – a grey husk of a building just to the south of the Queensway, one that looks like its been hit by several hundred artillery rounds.

But it's not a casualty of war. It's the former Pickering Building and new headquarters for the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC). Located at 250 Tremblay Rd., it is being retrofitted by Daoust Moore Construction with an eye to completion by late spring of this year.

The six-storey, 120,000 square foot office building is undergoing a transformation to a class A office facility with approximately 80,000 to 100,000 square feet of new space for lease. The completely renovated building will include a new conference centre and, according to Colonnade Development, offer maximum Queensway exposure.
