6 percent commission that most of Realtors members charge to sell a house. But the FsboMadison.com website gets more traffic/week than the South Central Wisconsin MLS. It is giving real estate agents in that town a run for their money. The little site has captured nearly 20 percent of its county's real estate listings. The country's largest for-sale-by-owner Web site may have winning formula to challenge Realtors' dominance. "It may be an extension of the 1960s, when we stuck it to the man by protesting the war," said Mayor David J. Cieslewicz, who notices all the FsboMadison signs around town. "These days we stick it to the man by selling our own home--and pocketing the 6 percent."
